I was hired by contemporary composer, Christen Lien, to design the artwork and brand direction for her concept album, Elpis, which deals with the myth of Pandora's Box. I developed a symbols-based concept that attempts to capture the essence of two narratives: the original myth, and Lien's proposal (Elpis breaks free from imprisonment). In addition to album packaging, my work included designing a custom alphabet and building out promotional branded marketing materials. Photography by Anja Epkes.
